Wide technology support
The unattended drive test system employs groups of Android-based field measurement probes called Nemo Explorer-1. Nemo Explorer-1 enables unattended drive tests and automated measurements on the air interface of GSM, CDMA, EVDO, WCDMA, HSDPA, HSUPA, HSPA+, and LTE/ LTE cat. 4 wireless networks with a wide range of radio and application metrics. Available application testing options include voice calls, FTP/HTTP data transfers, HTML browsing, YouTube video streaming, Facebook testing, SMS messaging, and ping. In addition, POLQA and PESQ voice quality testing are supported.
The system is comprised of a data connection server (Nemo Autonomous Server), file conversion software operating on that server (Nemo File Manager), a database server (Nemo Analyze Database Server), remote control software (Nemo Commander) connected to the database server, and a field measurement unit (Nemo Explorer-1).
Nemo Autonomous has been designed to fully integrate the best-in-class post-processing capabilities of Nemo Analyze, enabling, for example, full automation of the entire data processing chain from field to a complete report.
Easy installation and usage
The tools can be installed in fixed locations or moving vehicles, or deployed as handset-only, requiring no permanent installation. A single user is able to monitor and control numerous fixed and mobile probes from a centralized location, enabling operators to decrease the reaction time to network problems, and to improve network service levels faster than before. Since there is no need to operate measurement tool on the field, the probes can be managed by a driver without RF/Engineering knowledge.
